The brand name originated from the words "launder" (signifying the quality and longevity of the products) and "Londoner" (representing the place where it was launched and the lifestyle that inspired the concept). In true Aussie fashion, we abbreviated it by removing the vowels to create LNDR (pronounced el-en-dee-ahr).
Why is LNDR more expensive?
Our aim is to create the highest quality products using the best fabrics while paying fair prices to our factories—most of which are based in Europe. This commitment comes at a cost. We are doing what we can to make our products as affordable as possible, but most importantly (in our opinion) to ensure they stand up in quality and style that truly lasts, making them worth the investment.
Do the biodegradable fabric wear out sooner than the other non-bio fabrics?
No it won't. It only breaks down in landfill conditions and still takes years (around 5). If any biodegradable LNDR style doesn't last as well as any other product, we'd happy to replace it for you.
We use signature fabrics and technical details to create our running jackets, making sure they keep you protected from the elements without weighing you down. Think double-zipped pockets, high necklines and place-holding thumbholes.
