Better, Cleaner Products.
00 : What Matters to us01 : Chemical Testing02 : Materials03 : Product Longevity04 : End of life05 : Our StandardsPerformance without the unnecessary. Every fibre. Every chemical. Every decision. We look beyond performance to understand what goes into our kit, screen for substances of concern and make considered material choices. We aim to always question the standard to keep raising the bar. Because performance is only part of the equation.
We use independent testing, up-to-date peer reviewed research and recognised certification standards to assess the chemical requirements of our products. The vast majority of our materials hold OEKO-TEX® and/or Bluesign® certifications.
This is an evolving science and we aim to be as transparent as possible, so reach out with any specific questions you have.
BPA + PFAS
We pay particular attention to substances of high concern such as bisphenols (including but not limited to BPA) formaldehyde, Azo dyes and PFAS.
Independent testing
We are currently undergoing extensive additional 3rd party testing for these substances - and working with our suppliers to achieve a "not detected" result.
Product-level certification
Certifications vary by product, and even the different components of a product. Check the individual product pages for specific information on each product.
We don't choose materials because they sound good on a label. We consider performance, durability, chemical requirements and environmental impact. Synthetic fibres (without harmful chemistry) have a place in high-performance kit. So do natural fibres. For us, it depends on the function and purpose of the product.
**It's important to know that natural fibres in apparel have dyes and chemistry applied to them also. So chemical testing isn't just necessary for synthetics.
Technical Synthetic Fibres
Selected for the demands of high-intensity training. Stretch, compression, shape retention, durability, weight and moisture management all matter. For garments that require any level of stretch and compression, elastane plays an essential role. High quality synthetic fibres are stable and inert - the chemistry on them is not.
Natural Fibres
We use true natural fibres where they suit the function of the product - at this point mostly organic cotton. Grown, cleaned and spun.
Where a style needs stretch, we blend it with elastane. When additional performance qualities are required, it is blended with polyamide or TENCEL™.
Cellulose Fibres - TENCEL™
We use TENCEL™ which is made from wood pulp. It’s man-made from a natural source and produced in a closed-loop process. Unlike conventional viscose, including most bamboo fabrics, the process avoids the more chemically intensive production commonly used.
The longer a product performs, the longer it can stay in use. We design for repeat wear, lasting shape and performance that holds up to training.
Fit, fabric recovery, construction and durability all contribute to how long a product earns its place in your kit. We don't make products just to chase a trend cycle. We want you to reach for your kit, session after session. Get more out of every piece.
We work with textile recovery partners to ensure worn or faulty LNDR products don't go to landfill.
Our recovery options vary by region, garment condition and available processing. In Australia, we work with Upparel; in the UK, First Mile. Depending on the condition of an item, garments are directed towards reuse, donation or textile recovery.
The reality is we can't call everything clean, green or sustainable and leave it at that. We're here to make technically excellent kit, understand what goes into it, assess the evidence and keep improving the decisions behind every product. Better-informed choices. More considered materials. Transparency with our customers. We're here to hold higher standards that keep us and the industry improving.
